The communication with the owner, Neil, was excellent, and he provided us with valuable information about the area. the location was peaceful and close to all the attractions the Forest of Dean has to offer. The cottage itself was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the selection of toys for the kids was a nice touch, and the footpaths directly from the cottage were convenient for exploring the surrounding area. the covered outside eating area in the garden was a bonus, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors. One downside was the lack of ironing facilities, which was a bit inconvenient for us. the sitting area was comfortable, but could use some updating. the flat-screen TV was a nice addition, but the lack of free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a disappointment. Overall, the cottage provided good value for the price, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break in the Forest of Dean.
